Jon Gleave joins as new BDM
Wow, what a year. It has certainly been a challenging one for many of our clients, particularly in the hospitality sector, and will continue to be as we move into 2021. However, working closely with, and listening to, our brokers many of our clients have been able to adapt to the changing circumstances wrought by the coronavirus pandemic.
As a BDM and having joined Aqueous during the first lockdown, the team and I have been working around the clock – often on Zoom or Teams – to ensure we have been able to respond to our brokers changing needs on a daily basis.
It is said that every challenge is also an opportunity and in the case of Covid-19, it has certainly been an opportunity for brokers to really demonstrate their worth, helping often stressed clients get the right cover in place and at short notice – enabling their businesses to be flexible and dynamic in response to the challenging trading environment.
The challenges facing us all in these will unprecedented time look set to continue into the first half of 2021 at least, and with the future in mind I am presently working closely with Tom Hill, team lead here at Aqueous to develop our national strategic partnerships as we look to drive forward, meet and surpass the needs of brokers in 2021 with the very best client services available.
Over the last year it has only been by listening to our brokers that we have been able to develop our underwriting offering and keep pace with changing client demands. As we head into 2021 that same approach will remain core to our strategy and we remain very much in listening mode so please get in touch to help us work together, in partnership, to keep clients, brokers and the UK economy moving.
