Our Underwriting Team is growing

Aqueous welcomes new underwriting talent

It gives us great pleasure to announce that we’re kicking off 2022 with a bang, with the addition of three new hires who’ll be joining our Underwriting Team.

Joining as our new Senior PI Underwriter is  Louise Redmond, she has over 20 years’ market experience and has previously worked at BC Underwriting where she was Senior PI underwriter, with underwriting roles at AXA, QBE Europe and AIG Europe.

To further support the expanding PI team, Debbie Farman will also be joining as an Underwriter, with previous experience from Square Mile Underwriting.

Finally, our third hire is Liam Wilson, previously from Thistle Underwriting, who joins our e-trade team specialising in SME Package business. He boasts over 7 years’ experience and has also worked at QBE Europe and Ageas.

Speaking on these new appointments, Aqueous’ Chief Executive Officer Danny French said: 

“We have made a strong and positive start to 2022 both in terms of our financial and underwriting capability. All three of the underwriters we are bringing in are experienced exponents in their fields and I’m pleased to be able to add strength and depth to our underwriting teams.”
